Post-tension & reinforcement
Identify detectable tendons and reinforcement layout around proposed penetrations.
Service · Concrete scanning
Scan slabs, walls and structural elements for detectable reinforcement, conduits and embedded features.
Hitting post-tension cables, reinforcement or conduit can be costly and dangerous. A cut tendon or live conduit can stop a job, damage the structure and put people at risk.
Concrete scanning uses high-frequency GPR to identify detectable embedded features before you core, drill or cut, then marks clear zones directly on the surface.
Identify detectable tendons and reinforcement layout around proposed penetrations.
Flag detectable conduits running through slabs and walls before saw cutting or coring.
Mark safe areas and targets directly on the concrete, with photos of each location.

Example scenarios
Illustrative scenarios based on common site work. They are examples, not completed ASGPR projects.
The risk
Hydraulic risers need several 100 mm cores. The slab may contain post-tension cables, reinforcement and embedded conduit.
What ASGPR does
Scan each core location and a margin around it to identify detectable reinforcement, conduits and tendons.
What you get
Clear-zone markings at each core, notes on anything that could not be resolved, and photos of every marked location.

FAQs
Where access allows, scanning from the side you'll be working on is usually enough to mark detectable features. Some situations benefit from checking the soffit as well.
Scanning can estimate spacing and approximate cover of detectable reinforcement. It is not a structural assessment; consult your engineer for structural decisions.
